What Is Resume Parser?
Sovren AI Matching - With Parsing:
Match with an engine that mimics your thinking.
Sovren's AI Matching Engine understands candidates as humans with career profiles not just a string of keywords. It recognizes that a current mid-level programmer is a far better match for a programming job than a current manager with previous programming experience. Why? Because we've modeled our engine to think like a recruiter, not a machine.
Who Uses Resume Parser?
Job Boards / Social & Business Networking Sites, Applicant Tracking System / HRIS & HCM Vendors, Staffing and Recruitment Organizations, Corporate HR Departments, startups, B2B Software companies.

Reviews of Resume Parser
The Sovren parser is a very powerful tool to extract details from a resume. It handles a wide range
Comments: The software has multiple good features and is customizable to extract the information that we were looking for when we parse resumes. It also has a cool feature that tries to generate a brief summary about a resume it parses, which can be indicative of the type of resume. The customizability of the APIs is a plus.
Pros:
It can handle a wide range of resume files to extract information - (file types like pdf, doc, docx, txt, rtf) and also many different resume formats. This is extremely powerful and helpful in our business.
Cons:
This is not a big con, given the wide variety of things that Sovren handles well, but sometimes, it does not extract some fields like education, or job experience years correctly in certain formats. We just keep ourselves aware and acknowledge that as the nature of the problem that Sovren tries to tackle itself is very complex
good
Comments: very good product, easy to use.
Alternatives Considered:
Average parser !
Pros:
The api integration is easy to setup, the startup price is quite affordable
Cons:
It does not support image (png or jpg), it's not always efficient
