Comments: I always look for speed. And this program is fast in its scans, it is efficient. It has an automated system that quarantines files that it thinks are dangerous. And each scan is customized, completely customizable.

Pros:

It is a fantastic program that detects and removes all types of spyware, from Trojans and adware to dialers and suspicious cookies. It scans any memory, any registry and/or drives of one's choice. Every scan it performs is completely effective and they are also fast. Items that are to be scanned in a second are stored in quarantine, while the others will be removed without delay. While this program has a free and a paid version, the free version is powerful, retains the same power of the Pro, it has some important limitations, such as the lack of automatic updates and real-time protection. But it is still a fantastic program.

Cons:

It is not a program that can be integrated with other applications or the browser. And the free version is very limited, so if you want to get all the features, you must buy. There are no trials.

Solid Choice for Anti-Spyware!

It feels like it uses a lot of processing power so it may slow down older computers

I used to use SuperAntiSpyware as a tool while working on client’s computer and would recommend to the user to buy it. I bought it on my own computer just to support them, I paid with Paypal soI wouldn’t give them my credit card info, I don’t use Paypal much and this summer noticed that every month they were taking around $27 for tech support, I contacted them and opened a case in Paypal but I guess they had put, in very small letters that I would be charged monthly for support. Paypal agreed with them becaus it’s true it was there even if it was hidden. SuperAntispyware said twice they would reimburse the over $200us fees but never did. In my opinion their application is suppose to stop sites from causing hackers and malicious attacks but they rob us with tricks like that and their customer service basically laugh at you about that scam they use.

Assurance in Security

Comments: I am satisfied with using SUPERAntiSpyware and will continuously use the product. I consider purchasing the subscription as one of my best investments, keeping my computer always protected from spyware.

Pros:

I have been using SUPERAntiSpyware for more than five years, and it never failed to make me feel assured that all spyware placed on my computer are detected and properly removed. It also has a scheduled scanner so you can consistently run the application in the background as you work, leaving your laptop or desktop protected. You can also adjust the scanning speed from low to high, giving you more options to run it at a right or fast pace.

Cons:

In some instances, you have to close all internet browsers to push through with the scan, but you can also cancel or schedule it later after using the internet browsers, giving you control and more flexibility when you wanted it to run.

One of the best Spyware cleaners out there!

Comments: As a computer technician, I used SuperAntispyware on a daily basis to clean our client's computers and remove viruses, spyware, and malware. It was part of our daily toolset and we even left it on user's computers for them to use. We would walk them through the basic controls and how to run the program.

Pros:

There are many different cleaning options included in even the free version. You can do a short scan, full scan, scan USB devices, etc. etc. For advanced computer users, it can be fun to go through the options they offer and select exactly what you need.

Cons:

The worst part about SAS and any spyware cleaner is it can take a long time to run depending on the size of your hard drive and specs of your computer. I have personally seen SAS take anywhere from 10 minutes to many hours to complete a full scan.

Superantispyware aka SAS

Comments: The product has helped me remove many Trojans. I have used the extra features many times with great results.

Pros:

It has had a great ability to find malware. There are great extra features that you can find in this software's GUI that can be of great assistance when repairing computers.

Cons:

The scan results show cookies and for a beginner at malware scanning they appear malicious in the log but really are not.

I'm not a fan of the SUPERAntiSpyware pop-ups, but it seems to be working.

Pros:

One of our IT folks added SUPERAntiSpyware to my computer and insists that it's helping remove bugs, etc. I haven't had any IT issues and so I'm satisfied with the product overall, but the pop-ups are not for me.

Cons:

SUPERAntiSpyware seems to always pop-up at the least convenient times. The pop-ups slow me down and I wish SUPERAntiSpyware would simply work in the background without having to give me updates. The pop-ups seem like info that our IT folks want to know, but not me.

Good experience from 6 years

Comments: Really recommended, it solves problems for you when they happen and does it for free, honestly and transparently. It has a premium plan that is basically useless but that's what we should subscribe to: for their generosity, fairness and skill.

Pros:

This program is fantastic: I discovered it 6 years ago and it has remained the same ever since: the same logo, the same promotional offer, the same effectiveness in detecting threats. It is very light, truly non-invasive and does its duty when needed, nothing more.

Used when we quarantine a PC.

Comments: We have had two situations of quarantining a PC so it will not affect our network. Both times SuperAntispyware has helped us clean the PC from threats and does it in an amazing amount of time.

Pros:

We have only had to use SuperAntispyware a couple of times over the years but the times we need it, it has came through for us. in rare quarantine situations we use SuperAntispyware along with a few other programs to find out if a PC might be infected. Constantly it is up to date with the newest threats and the scan times are on point.

Cons:

Overall we have no real issues with the software. It works well, speedy and cost effective.

The best antispyware

Comments: I use it frequently to clean malicious files that are not detected by the antivirus.

Pros:

I like it because it removes all the garbage of the operating system, viruses and Trojans that the antivirus does not detect. It is easy to use and has advanced options that allow a thorough check of the system.

Cons:

it does not have important contraindications, I accept that it takes too long when analyzing hard disks with a lot of information.

Dont look further

Comments: Its just great, its my computer safe for a low price, its low on analysing times, clears all the cookies and mess that comes when you surf a lot. You cant ask for a simpler to use software or more effective.

Pros:

SUPERAntiSpyware is incredibly easy to use, extremly safe, super useful, its a no brainer, keep it updated, run it a few days a week, presto! your computer stays clean. But dont push it have some resposibility on your websurfing and software installing. Even beign a bit messy, it keeps you safe.

Cons:

dont trust the auto update, before you run it, update, its 2 clicks away, takes a minute. It could offer more, but you get what you paid for at a really low price. More would add complexity, slowe times, etc. Keep it Simple.

SuperAntiSpyware - First option to test a system for Spyware

Comments: We need a tool to quickly assess a machine with strange activity to see if it can identify and remove malware or adware and this does the job very well.

Pros:

I like that I can quickly update and scan a system and verify that we are clean from Malware or Adware of any kind. SuperAntiSpyware has become our go to option when there's strange behavior on a system and the traditional antivirus hasn't shown an issue. It's quick to download and install. Quick to update, with good fresh definitions and usually returns a full scan in a short period of time. We have used this as a first line of defense against the bad stuff that users get into on Windows desktops.

Cons:

One of the features I would like to see is integration of Powershell to control the scans and updating process as well as grab information about the results. We're using management over Powershell more and more and it would be great if this were a tool we could integrate into that.

Simple but cannot ignore

Comments: Very good. No doubt I will remain my first choice most of the time

Pros:

What I really like about this software is, it easily detects the malware without hampering your computer performance and this is what makes it unique. Its lightweight software and that's why most of the time I prefer this over other security softwares . All other features are same like other softwares.

Cons:

What I really don't like about this software is its inApp UI and Notification UI. They really need to improve it. May be its not important but, I would like to receive notifications on attractive UI.

Great security addition for home users.

Comments: Windows 10 has its own virus protection built in, but a lot of times it is not enough. While I don't recommend installing a full featured antivirus, SuperAntispyware is a great addition.

Pros:

Catches many malware programs missed by other software. Easy to use. Relatively inexpensive.

Cons:

Bug icon in systray always makes me think there is something wrong. Free version prompts you to upgrade. (you should - its not expensive)

Outstanding protection and very affordable

Comments: For 10+ years now SUPERAntiSpyware has kept me virus and spyware free. I have it on every computer in my home, and prefer it over any other AV software.

Pros:

I have been using SUPERAntiSpyware for around 10 years and I can say without a doubt that it is one of the best out there. It is very lightweight, takes only seconds to update, and scans are much faster than most of the others. I also run SAS as a secondary cleaner when working on an infected machine (behind Malwarebytes or Combofix).

Cons:

The only gripe that I have with SUPERAntiSpyware is showing me an entry for EVERY tracking cookie that it found. This has given me anxiety in the past because I thought my machine was severely infected.

Did not live up to my expectations

Comments: I spend a lot of time on the internet and wanted to be as safe as possible from spyware.

Pros:

I liked the realtime scanning and alerts. Any time any program tried to change a system setting, I would get an alert.

Cons:

It started taking up amazing amounts of RAM., especially at start up. I could leave the computer, make coffee and come back. It took that long for it to finish whatever it does on startup so I could have functionality on my computer again. I had 8G of RAM.

Good for Daily Use

Comments: I have used the free version for quite some time now and finally decided to upgrade to a paid version :) Yes ladies and gents, I think it is that worth it... Usually have 200+ threats easily removed daily!

Good for daily use of ridding your pc of tracking obtained from web surfing

Even though I run a complete scan when I leave for the day and I just turn off my monitors the software doesn't recognize that I have conducted a scan and a pop-up always shows missed scan due to.....

I love SuperAnti Spyware

Comments: I would recommend anyone to use this software. First of all, because it's free and second of all because of the value it provides. I like performing a scan and having the application show me how many threats were active on my computer.

Pros:

I have been using SuperAntiSpyware for several years. I like how it's available in both a free and a paid version. I have never upgraded to the paid version because the free version is excellent. I like how it easily scans and removes spyware from my computer. You have the choice of doing a quick scan or a complete scan where all the files on the computer are scanned for threats. It also notifies me of updates every couple of days.

Cons:

I don't have any complaints about this software. The paid version offers more features but the free version is able to serve my purposes.

One step ahead

Comments: Great experience. Use it all the time and had helped me out a lot with random computer issues great tools

I like that this product helps me stay ahead of bad things. And if something goes happen there are a lot of tools built in to help diagnos and fix the issue automatically

Cons:

Some PC's take forever to run the scans and repairs and they can be very frustrating. And after the long wait it might not have fixed the issue

Good basic SPyware product

Comments: For a free product I use is often. I am happy with it.

Pros:

This seems to keep my computer clean. I run it at least 3-4 times a week. It catches cookies mostly but I do find that of value.

Cons:

It takes a long time to run, typically 15 - 20 minutes. You must close all your browsers to get it to remove what it finds, which is mostly unwanted cookies.

SuperAntiSpyware the free antimalware

Comments: Twice a year I am searching for and cleaning the Malware from my PC. SuperAntiSpyware does this in 30 minutes and cleans approx 80% of the malware from the PC.

Pros:

SuperAntiSpyware is a program that comes for free used to detect malware. There are other programs that one can use to fight malware, but SuperAntiSpyware is free and very good. In 30 minutes you download the program and 80% of the malware is removed. You can campare the efectiveness of this program with Malwarebytes antimalware. These two programs remove 99% of the malware. :)

Cons:

SuperAntiSpyware was no 1 years ago. Today there are other free programs that one can use to detect the malware.

Fantastic program for removing Spyware, Adware, & Malware

Comments: Able to run a quick scan whenever needed to detect any spyware, malware & adware from your computer.

Pros:

I have been using this program for about 5 years. It is very easy to use and they are always updating almost daily to keep up with all the spyware, adware and malware which is a added plus. Very simple to install and run. Really does remove what needs to be removed. Before running I always check that my definitions are up-to-date.

Cons:

If you want the premium edition you will have to pay for this. It will do much more than the basic free edition. You can schedule it to run on it's own and do real-time tracking.

Great cleaning tool...

Comments: I use this program and 2 others to run my whole tuneup business. It is fast so I can install, run the cleaner, and work on other things while it is working. It is indispensable to my business.

Pros:

I really like the feature where when it starts scanning for malware it checks for hidden browser plugins, and removes them from the system. Easy to use and is convenient to run in the background while working to keep the computer clean. Has a number of tools that can be used to fix problems.

Cons:

I do not like to run SUPERAntiSpyware on low ram computers full time. So I remove it from the startup and run it as necessary.

Solid product and very easy to run or have users run themselves.

Pros:

First and foremost the fact that it offers free spyware scans. The purchased version is also great because I have had little to no issues whatsoever and it seems to almost always decipher the difference between things to let go and things to flag as possible threats.

Cons:

The only con I can think of is at times the software seems to stall at the removal process. What normally takes no more than 30 seconds to a minute will stall and take up to an hour. Doesn't happen frequently but I have seen it.
