Reviews of Zbrush
The combine harvester program can do so much that it's hard to grasp it :)
Comments: A great program for normal money, with virtually no competition. It worked great for me in designing jewelry and optimizing complex geometries. I highly recommend it.
Pros:
Versatility, speed of operation, functionality, multitude of applications. Lighting works well in quickly calculating and optimizing large meshes, works great in jewelry design.
Cons:
it is very extensive and therefore requires time to learn it well and use its full capabilities, but this is such a small disadvantage against the background of many advantages.
Alternatives Considered:
The best organic modeling software by far.
Pros:
Intelligent cross platform design and functionality. Helps us get the job done in the best way efficiently and effectivly.
Cons:
The rising cost of subscriptions and lifetime license cost. Also the release of multiple iterations of effectively the same software at differing price points.
The best tool for Digital Sculpting.
Comments: ZBrush is a powerhouse tool that can be cumbersome at times. I feel empowered as a digital sculptor using ZBrush
Pros:
ZBrush is incredibly powerful. It has earned and maintained its position as the industry standard for 3D sculpting.
Cons:
The UI is very dated and a bit overwhelming.
Difficult to get into but otherwise very versatile
Pros:
Though I have now switched over to Blender, during the earlier years of Blender, ZBrush was the go-to for sculpting game assets. It's still a very powerful software once you get over the hurdle of learning how to use it.
Cons:
The approachability for new users is is quite bad. Unintuitive UX being the worst offender. The price is still not that high compared to Maya, but it is probably still quite a lot for a lone developer.
Creative Alliance Review
Comments: It is one of the best softwares out there for 3d modelling and sculpting. The detailing is top notch and the wide set of tools is awesome to use and precisely upto our requirements.
Pros:
With the availability of so many tools to use to sculpt the models, Zbrush is one of the best. We are able to take the high quality model to unreal engine which is a huge plus for us.
Cons:
You have to have a pretty high-end PC for running it smoothly and the cost is a little bit on the higher side.
The ultimate 3D sculpting software
Comments: Zbrush is the best sculpting 3D software, with basic shapes, thousands brushes and a high capacity software, Zbrush will allow you to bring your imagination into the 3D world and you can even paint it.But on the other side the animation is limited and the price can be found expensive for individual use.I still highly recommend Zbrush for anyone who wants to sculpt in 3D, being the best sculpting software at the moment.
Pros:
After using Zbrush for many years now, I can say that this is the best software for 3D sculpting. The level of details and accuracy is getting higher with each update. Having several basic shapes and a huge range of brush choices will make your goal easier to achieve. You can even paint your model after modeling it.Beginners will find clear documentation of the interface and lots of free tutorials on youtube that could help you get easily started.
Cons:
Zbrush can not be your only software if you are working on an animated scene. It is already very helpful to allow you sculpt and paint, but the animation features are very limited, and you won't be able to achieve any desired result you want.Other than the animation limitations, the software can be considered a little bit expensive for people working on personal projects, outside of companies.
Amazing 3D Design Tool
Comments: My experience has been very positive, and I would recommend ZBrush to anyone interested in 3D sculpting. I opted to use a Mac with an iPad and found that this option to be cheaper than purchasing a Wacom.
Pros:
I selected Blender as my 3D design tool due to recommendations from the community, capabilities, and entry costs. The software always worked for me without any significant issues. Any problems that I encountered were addressed in various forums, blogs, and training. I was able to start sculpting in a relatively short period. Pixologic has been developing this tool for years, and it has so much capability and supports a wide range of user needs. If you have used another comparable product, one can transition to the ZBrush easily. My goal was to create sculptures that can be printed or cut with a CNC and clearly saw how to get there. I found so many useful blogs and videos that helped me get going and continue to support my growth. Pixologic offers a Core and CoreMini that allows interested users to feel for the tool before purchasing a full license. I also found value in the annual conferences.
Cons:
The learning curve can be challenging due to its scope and capabilities. The cost for an annual license is $895 and which is a considerable expense. There is more software documentation in the system than on the actual website. Like all software tools that have had a long development life, the UI needs an overhaul to improve the overall organization.

Industry leading 3D sculpting and painting software
Comments: Zbrush is the most dedicated 3D software for sculpting and painting highly detailed models and textures. It is easy to get started and come with clear documentation.
Pros:
The best feature of Zbrush is its customizable brushes that can sculpt, texture, and paint complex and realistic 3D models. It can generate a high-quality base mesh from the imported models for mesh detailing. It has integrated 3D painting and texturing tools, that can take poly painting and UV mapping to the next level. Zbrush is easy to learn with a great community, documentation, and tutorials.
Cons:
Zbrush is not suitable for rendering realistic 3D models.

My sculpture
Comments: ZBrush gives you access to a variety of workflows and unlimited creative possibilities thanks to its library of tools
Pros:
it's a very popular tool in the industry,Zbrush allows you to paint directly on the surface of the model without first assigning a UV texture map, which makes the work more realistic.
Cons:
several materials and textures cannot be viewed at the same time in the display window with its rendering engine
Zbrush will be the software.
Comments: Kinda sucked being alone in the process.
Pros:
Limitless possibilities to create and experience out of this world creations
Cons:
Hard to learn. Very slow. Must be dedicated.
An incomparable 3D modeling software.
Comments: With Z-Bush, I have almost no limit when it comes to modeling. all the options, the tools, the brushes that Z-Brush has its tailor-made for a very high quality work. I use it for all my complex modeling projects and I'm never disappointed. This software is unbeatable.
Pros:
What for me is one of the greatest strengths of this software is the level of detail it can achieve for modeling. It is able to model on an object of several million polygons and in a fluid way without working latency, which is impossible with all other 3D modeling software.
Cons:
The major drawback is its handling which is not at all obvious for newcomers. the learning curve is very steep. But also the fact that it is not possible to do rigging or animation on Z-Brush can make it less effective overall than other 3D modeling software that is efficient in all its other areas.
Zbrush Review
Comments: I am able to create certain types of designs faster in Zbrush than in a digital painting software.
Pros:
The product is easy to use but it is has many features and therefore requires quite a bit of learning. 3D modeling is a skill that requires practice to build. Drawing skills help when doing digital sculpting in the software. Integrating Zbrush into my business is easy to do. I can create a 3d model then use the 2D image as a design. The application is great for creating advanced 3D models with high resolution.
Cons:
It's more difficult to create block models than it is to create high resolution models. block models require a different approach. I would like to use one technique for all types of models to make things easy.
The best 3D Sculpting Software
Pros:
what I particularly like about ZBrush is the power and the precision of the work. Truly infinite possibility of sculpting, drawing, modeling. the tools made available, the brushes, the Models, everything is of very very good quality. I really can't do without this software.
Cons:
Nothing! A realy love this Software. It's the best

Excellent Sculpting Software With a Terrible UI
Comments: ZBrush has long been the industry standard sculpting software for a reason. I've dabbled with sculpting in Blender and tried a few other small apps but none can hold a candle to ZBrush. It's important to note however that ZBrush does the one thing and does it really well, you will still need to use it alongside a more traditional 3D package like Blender or Maya. ZBrush main drawback is it's poor UI and overabundance of workflow idiosyncrasies. This has long been a complaint among the user base but was never addressed. Regardless of the difficulties, Zbrush has such a powerful sculpting toolset that I have continued to use it. Now that Maxon has acquired Pixologic we can only hope they dedicate time to improving this area. I generally use ZBrush when I want to create organic or sculptural objects for CGI or 3D print. Even then I recommend using it alongside your main app with the GoZ bridge to achieve best results. For instance creating and positioning the base shapes for teeth, claws, etc, can often be more efficiently done in Maya or Blender and then exported to ZBrush for further sculpting. This was more important in the past but ZBrush has gotten better transform tools in recent years, making positioning easier.
Pros:
Industry Standard Sculpting Software Excellent Feature Set Great set of tools for decimation and voxel remeshing Powerful and efficient software capable of displaying millions of points without performance issues Perpetual license available
Cons:
ZBrush has long been known to have a very unintuitive UI. There's a saying among ZBrush users that you never learn to like the UI or have it become intuitive through use, you only learn to tolerate it.
Zbrush for character designers & 3D generalists.
Comments: I haven't used Zbrush that much but i'd like to recommand it for those whom are struggling in finding a good modeling software to start with & Zbrush is a very niched software that gives you flexbility and wide variety of tools & functions to create wonderful works.
Pros:
I love that Zbrush is familiar to other 3D softwares which gave me flexbility to design characters on Zbrush with ease of use . It contains much tools for sculpting and modeling objects which you'd like to render later on a different rendering software.
Cons:
I don't like that the software is a little bit complicated at the beginning so you might have to attend some online classes in order to learn so software but the good part is that Zbrush is across the net & their are bunch of free resources which you can learn from for free !
It takes time to get use to it but is an amazing 3d modeling tool
Comments: I tried other 3d modeling software and i really like how zbrush gives me the liberty to model like in real life
Pros:
Zbrush is a really complex software where you can make 3d modeling in a more didactic way, you can easily move around and model without having any restrictions, its just like modeling in real life
Cons:
It can crash sometimes beacuse of polygons but you just need to get the hang of it.
ZBrush is Incredibly Powerful
Comments: ZBrush has allowed me to create models or assets that are realistic looking yet are not heavy. Where at one time I might need 200K polys to create a realistic model, ZBrush allows me to do one almost indistinguishable for a third the size. That makes a big difference when you have large scenes with millions of polys. Whether you make mechanical or organic models that require sculpting fine details, ZBrush can handle it in a spectacular manner. I've found it able to do anything I need it to. It's amazing, but again, sometimes just a little harder to initially figure out.
Pros:
ZBrush is an incredible program. I can do just about anything you can imagine if you create digital models, need realism or need to create or sculpt realistic game assets with low overhead. And you don't have to bake low poly models if you don't want to. You can keep your high resolution and high poly models and use them if that works for your workflow. There really aren't many other programs that can do everything that ZBrush has to offer. I also like that it's fast and can handle huge polygon counts with little trouble.
Cons:
It's difficult to have a 'Con' for ZBrush except for one thing. It's not easy to learn. The workflow and interface is unique and takes a bit of time to wrap your head around. It's also not particularly intuitive for some things and if you don't touch it for awhile, you'll forget some of the specific workflow nuances and will have to relearn or research them again.
Zbrush: A premium 3D creation tool.
Comments: Zbrush is an amazing premium tool to use that offers professional quality. My experience with Zbrush has been very positive! The tool is incredible for 3D creation and modelling. Definitely worth the price if you can afford it!
Pros:
Zbrush is a premium software and that means it's incredibly professional. The UI has become very easy to use and looks less dense than before. Zbrush has amazing transform and sculpting tools that I use to create characters and objects. The texture paint tool offers a large amount of texture brushes that easily transform the material with the texture. Zbrush is also great for creating landscapes which I would then export for games.
Cons:
The biggest con of Zbrush is the price. It can be a steep price to pay if you are an indie creator or it's just a hobby for you. However, if you can afford it or you are more of a professional who requires premium tools then Zbrush is worth it. I have experienced a small amount of crashes when using Zbrush but the updates then to reduce that amount.
Don't brush off this reccomendation
Comments: As I said. Once you get over the learning curve this is one of the most powerful 3D tools out there. Hard and soft sculpting, characters, animals, there's a lot to this.
Pros:
I've tried many other sculpting apps and programs and this one is probably the best one I could suggest. Once you get over the original learning curve, you will quickly realize how powerful this program is.
Cons:
I would like a lot more tutorials for each tool which would cut the learning curve down a bit. There are some really awesome tools that have little to no explanation.
The first program in the design of objects and characters
Comments: It is classified as the first class in the programs of making objects and anime characters, it has a large platform of readily adjustable libraries, you can find what you are looking for easily, and I can use files downloaded from it in other engineering programs to execute the project and appear to the fullest, an application that cannot be dispensed to suckers, engineers and technicians
Pros:
I like his library to examine I like his tools include intelligent evolution the size and tall and skin everything I like to explore characters and edit it
Cons:
occasionally can't work without a mouse, can't use well may Trackpad
One of my favorites design softwares.
Comments: My overall experience is a good one.
Pros:
I like that it’s very different in terms of tools and design functionality. I switched from blender and I found this software way more useful and easy.
Cons:
I don’t like that if you are a beginner this is not a software for you.
Best digital sculpting software out there
Comments: ive been using Zbrush for years and i love it.
Pros:
what I like about ZBrush most is that you can create/ sculpt anything in this software- up to your imagination really.
Cons:
Zbrush is not the easiest software to learn
Best sculpting software made for artists
Comments: Mostly good. Just takes time to get used to the layout and customisation options.
Pros:
So many different tools and works amazing with a graphics tablet
Cons:
UI can be overwhelming without customisation
review
Pros:
I like how sculpting in Zbrush is so good in comparing with other software
Cons:
Zbrush has the worst and more complex interface ever in any software
The best organic modeling software on the market
Comments: As I said, for me it is the best software for organic modeling, it has a great variety of tools and when using a graphics tablet the software becomes even more incredible.
Pros:
The variety of tools for organic modeling
Cons:
The software is excellent, I believe it is the best software for organic modeling on the market, but some improvements in the interface would be welcome. Its interface becomes a little confusing when you have a first contact with the software. Improvements to the design in terms of aesthetics would also be welcome.
