The customer service department are available most of the time but not always competent. > > **Cons**: They guys who wrote it think they are cool so they write really unprofessional familiarity messages that are really desperate. The software is awkward, cumbersome and I don't trust the outcomes. It dangerously empowers unqualified users to do their own tax returns wrongly and invites HMRC to investigate them. It empowers unqualified users to process their own payroll wrongly meaning that they miss out on allowances that are available through qualified accountants. The software isn't capable of carrying out simple basic level bookkeeping tasks and the customer services department dream up complicated workarounds rather than getting the issues fixed. Buyers beware, > > I bought into the whole cool new FreeAgent software buzz and as the price was high, I thought, they must be able to offer better features than the others. To say that I was disappointed is a gross understatement. There are so many flaws in this software, I'm surprised they haven't yet been sued under fit for purpose laws.
