Great tool for Managing translation tasks

Pros:

I like that is really great for using it for a team at the same time, it syncs, and also that keeps good track of status changes, plus the search is great either with tags or something specific. And is really great when you are working in different teams, you can compare with what other teams did.

Cons:

sometimes I required to doble click the validation button because the status rolledback to previous status, it might be internet connection issue, but I think it wasn't that.

Great product for translation

Comments: My overall experience with Tolgee was exceptionally positive, standing out when compared to numerous other products in the market. Its quick response times, clarity in presentation, and the inclusion of automated translation features significantly saved time and streamlined the translation process. This combination of efficiency, user-friendliness, and time-saving automation made it a highly satisfactory tool to work with.

Pros:

The aspects of Tolgee that stood out the most were its competitive pricing structure, user-friendly interface, and the extensive array of features it offers. This made it an appealing option, delivering excellent value and enhancing operational efficiency through its supportive functionalities and ease of navigation. These advantages made it highly favorable compared to other options.

Cons:

One of the few drawbacks of Tolgee was the challenge in locating the most recently translated string, along with a navigation system within the translation fields that relies too heavily on mouse interaction. A keyboard-centric approach for navigation would be greatly preferred for enhancing efficiency and ease of use.

First translation tool I've ever used

Pros:

It works. I don't really have experience with any other tools of this kind.

Cons:

Might be just the way our team uses it, but using Tolgee still requires action on the front-end side to make the translations available for the website. It would be better if I didn't have to touch the front-end code to add a translation.

Comments: As a developer I like working with it but it was a bit hard to integrate with our setup due to the compatibility build of vue

Pros:

The product is ideal for working together with our copy and translation team and helps us to ge translations faster and more correct into production

Cons:

It was our choice to implement it in an app which runs the vue compatibility build and that does not always align with minor software upgrades from tolgee. CDN has some downtime sometimes.

Great Features and Easy to Use for Localization

Pros:

Cons:

Honestly, I can't find any cons. Tolgee works perfectly and meets all my needs, providing a smooth and efficient localization experience.

Tolgee makes translation management effortless

Comments: Very positive, Tolgee has increased development efforts since developers can worry less and spend less time on translation management.

Pros:

Mostly intuitive UI and well integrated with machine translation providers. Easily manage translation keys across many languages. Import/export. API and CLI tools readily available. Easily filter and mark translations. See overall stats and progress on translations per language. Tolgee team is consistency improving the product, i.e. new features, new batch APIs, etc.

Cons:

Nothing overly negative to say about Tolgee. Only thing I wish was different is that "select all" is a batch API operation that can sometimes have issues, but I realize that it is that way since not all translations are loaded on the screen at once.

A great low-cost alternative to big name platforms

Comments: Before discovering tolgee all of the translations for our projects where managed through excel files. It is needless to say how ingredient it was. At some point we realized we needed a translation management solution. I spent a couple of months researching available options. I found out that most of the solutions out there were either prohibitively expensive or didn't have the required functionality. Even many of the paid solutions didn't always have all of the features we needed. And then I discovered tolgee...

Pros:

Tolgee is fully-featured, well designed, modern and slick translation management system. It had every handy feature we needed out of the box. It's also open source and very easy to deploy and configure should you choose a self-hosted option.

Cons:

Tolgee is still young and undergoes major development and improvement. This may lead to some breaking changes if your apps rely on tolgee's API.

Quick and organised translation

Pros:

I like the fact that Tolgee is free if you decide to self-host it and the guides to make it happen are very detailed. The user interface is intuitive and minimal and this makes it very efficient. The machine translation (configured with our API key) was gold for our translator as it reduced drastically the time spend on single translation.

Cons:

We had a bug that sometimes crashed the connection between the app and the database and it was kind difficult to identify it. But once we understood the problem and talk with support, they released a new version that fixed the bug.

Pros:

The main thing that I liked about Tolgee was the documentation, flexibility and their customer support.

Cons:

The plugin for the browser sometimes gets bugged and you cannot click any other thing until you press alt+click (Using electron)

Internatiolization is very easy With Tolgee

Tolgee is a really useful software

Comments: The translation is very easy and very fast. It is a real gain of time.

Pros:

The integration is pretty easy because we didn't have any other software which was doing the same thing, we would just translate everything manually which was pretty long. What I like the most is the automated translation which is very accurate and help me translate everything in a very short period of time. The collaboration in team is also very easy.

Cons:

The product is already really good but if I had an advice of improvement, I would use some machine learning to add a percentage of accuracy of the translation using the data of people who changed the automated translation with something else.

Morla Moves Tolgee Experience

Pros:

We really like text editing and in context translating, I think it's a great way to add non technical teams to localization processes. I did the implementation myself and it was really easy too, even though I'm mostly working with backend technologies I easily manage to do Toggle implementation. Also, documentation is really good too.

Cons:

I don't really have any dislikes, maybe a little bit more examples could be good.
